As of Wednesday 20th December our new system to replace Online Consult will go live. It is called Engage Consult. You will be able to contact us about most matters online including more urgent problems (with access to face-to-face assessment and treatment if needed) without having to wait on the phone.
After you submit a request for help, our aim is to get back to you within two days when we are open advising you of our response although it can take longer if we are exceptionally busy. If it is a straightforward and routine issue or follow-up, we may be able to give you advice and treatment online within a couple of days directly from a GP without the need for an appointment.
You can access the service and get more information by using clicking on the red banner at the top of our website home page, this will take you straight to the Engage Consult home page the same way you did with accessing Online Consult.
Engage Consult will be accessible from 7am – 12pm Mon-Fri (excluding public/NHS holidays) . When we are closed and you have a problem that can’t wait until we are open again, use the out-of-hours GP service by ringing NHS 24 on 111.
Always remember, General Practice Millhill Surgery are not emergency services. When it is an emergency, dial 999 or go directly to A&E. We also do not have Minor Injury Services Millhill Surgery – you can access the Minor Injury Unit at Queen Margaret hospital calling 111.
